whisky. so, sam, my flatmate from edinburgh, has organized the purchase of a cask of whisky. the isle of arran distillery is selling casks, and once i send in my money, i'll be a proud shareholder of a true sherry casked, single malt whisky.

it's rather exciting to think that i'll have my own stash of single malt, with my own label. of course, this won't be for 10 years at the earliest, but that should make it all the better. hopefully i'll be able to go visit at the ten year anniversary for a tasting (and a small reunion).
