london. i doubt anyone is really surprised that an attack occurred. at least i wasn't. what i can't grasp is the mentality behind it. random acts of violence is not going to further your cause, but it will build more resistance to it. widening the gap will not bring a resolution.

a lovely wedding. it seemed a bit like a mini reunion. i saw half a dozen people that i haven't seen in years. it's funny how many different directions we've gone. v. had been in the czech republic for the better part of 5 years; ew. i hadn't seen in quite some time, and i almost forgot how much fun she is to hang out with. met c., 'the date', who i spent a lot of time with that night since m. and ew. were in the wedding party.

and of course emily looked great.

packed. well, mostly. i have most of my belongings all packed up in bags. it's kinda hard to believe that this is the last night i'll spend here.

tomorrow i leave for work, then i'll be in bethlehem for a wedding. then it's back to pittsburgh to get the rest of my stuff. and finally, e. and i will drive our uhaul back to the city and set up shop in our new place. it's going to be one busy weekend.
