Vermont. A- and i went to vermont this weekend for a little getaway. and now it's back to work...

close to five months since my last post. if anyone still checks this, you hopefully are also friends with me on facebook. updates are easier there from my iphone, so fb gets more posts.

i am running my third half marathon this sunday. the 'rents are coming to see both of us perform in our respective events.

and i got contacts to make running and playing sports clearer and safer for all.

opera in a bar. had an early dinner yesterday at grape and grain in the east village before heading over to see some opera in a bar.

Wii. held a little wii party last night. dave, robin, ben, sam, kristin (while waiting for their torontonian friends to arrive), and alicia (after rehearsal). of course, no wii party is complete without a few beverages, and last night was brooklyn brewery pilsner and rising moon from blue moon and then moved on to whisky. we cracked open the six isles whisky i got for my birthday. very tasty.

birthday bash. keep the youth alive. we partied until 4am. but boy, it's so much harder to do this when you're over thirty. but thanks so those that came out (or into town). hosted by sam and kristin next door, the whole thing was a surprise after a- and i went out to dinner at the dressler. and yes, much whisky was drunk.

london. a- and i were in london last week for sam and kristin's wedding. we had a great time as evidenced by our lack of sleep. of course, that was partially due to the exceptionally firm mattress. pictures have been posted.
